“This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: If you follow my ways and carefully serve me, then you will be given authority over my Temple and its courtyards. I will let you walk among these others standing here. – Zechariah 3:7 (NLT)
In your house you have the authority to move furniture where you like it, to make changes as you feel like it, to redesign, to paint, to do whatever you want. This is the same authority that God has given us in the spirit. We have the authority to make changes in our lives that will be good for us, good for our families, good for our church, and good for the world. You have the right to tell God what you desire, and to expect it to come to pass, because you are in His house and a part of His family.
When you take care of God’s family, when you watch over His house, He gives you such dominion that no one can bother you. We have such power, such grace, such goodness from God at our disposal. Our lives should reflect that. We can walk with that authority, knowing that we are in God’s house, in His will. His eyes are over you. He is watching you and He will take care of you. Why? Because you are in His house, caring for His children, walking in His perfect will.
