Wonderful are His Works

Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works
Which You have done;
And Your thoughts toward us
Cannot be recounted to You in order;
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered.
Psalm 40:5

As Christians we have to guard our hearts and our thoughts. When we entertain bad thoughts it just makes us go backwards and sets us up for us for disaster.  We should check our minds daily and be grateful that the scripture says that the Lord has good thoughts towards us. We are so blessed because of how highly the Lord thinks of us.  We can’t forget that. We have to thank God that He is our Father and that He wants to bless us. Declare great blessings upon yourself.  Confess good things. Guard your hearts and guard your minds against everything else. Expect only the blessings of God!

Examine Oneself

Let us get up early to the vineyards;
Let us see if the vine has budded,
Whether the grape blossoms are open,
And the pomegranates are in bloom.
There I will give you my love.
Song of Solomon 7:12

This is a simple love story between us and the Lord. God is calling us to wake up early to seek Him and to be with Him.  He wants us to refresh our love every day, to constantly check ourselves and examine the fruit of our love. We should always be checking to make sure our relationship with Jesus Christ is in good standings, that we are growing in Him.  When it comes to failing in love with Jesus, you want to be the elite!  So get up early in the morning and examine yourself and the fruit of love that should be inside of you.  You should be madly in love with your God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit! Make sure you live for Christ and that you are fully committed to Him. God wants us to display His love for Him. We have to check daily to make sure that our levels of love correct.  We have to check within ourselves to make sure we are fully persuaded and fully in love, fully devoted to our Lord Jesus Christ 100%.
