You are Ready!

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; Ephesians 6:17

As Christians, we have been given the helmet of salvation. When we look up with our eyes and see what we have on our heads, we are putting our eyes towards God. Jesus who conquered death, conquered hell, and conquered satan is our Head. We know that Jesus is the commander of our lives, and as long as Jesus is the top, we are safe. In addition He gives us His Word, which is His sword. Now with that sword we can go overtake and overcome. As a child of God, you are not a victim, you are a victor! We are more than conquerors. He gives us a sharp two-edged sword. Think about how sharp a knife or sword is. If we understood who we are we would be in awe . Constantly we don’t realize that this is the very reason why God wants us to study and understand. If we knew who we are, we would go out in this world in victory not letting anything or anyone get in our way. We would overcome everything that would try to stop the move of God. We have to be the aggressor. God says, “Here I have given you your helmet and I have given you everything that you need. I have saved you, and I have saved your family. I am going to fix your situation, you are under me and I am over you!” Everything is going to be okay around you. Here is your sword; go out there and be the aggressor. Like Abraham was made whole, wearing the helmet salvation – he was then able to be the aggressor and save his nephew Lot. We are to go get his people and retrieve them. We are very well equipped, very well prepared, therefore we are more than conquerors.

Recover What is Yours!

And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them. Genesis 26:1

God has treasures in His word to remind us of His great promises. It doesn’t matter if the devil made you think you couldn’t have the desires of your heart, or that you couldn’t achieve your destiny, or have your promises in God.  Too often we think these promises have been stopped by life. We have the right as children of God, heirs of salvation, to an inheritance of Abraham.  Isaac picked up the mantle, went back to where the enemy tried to steal His inheritance, and reclaimed it. This is where we have to go back and reclaim what we think is lost and take back what we think that the devil has stolen. The devil has no right and we have all the right to go and claim what is ours. So now God is saying to us, “ I am writing this for you as an example.”  It doesn’t matter what has happened in the past and it doesn’t matter what people say. We are our own enemies with our negative thoughts. Stop and say, “Hey let me go back, that is mine, it belongs to me! I can do this, I know that God can help me. My God will bless me because I know that promise belongs to me. It has my name on it.” Notice that Isaac renamed it.  There are promises out there that have your name on it. He went to his well, his source of power, the water the Holy Spirit said, “That is for me!” He renamed it.  You have to go and claim what you want! “That’s my job, that’s my business, that’s my house, that’s my children behaving!”  Whatever it is that you want, claim it!  Whatever the desire is, you claim it, and rename it, and take it back!  This is your victory and God will bless you!  You can drink of it and be sustained!

Rain of Peace

But the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, Deuteronomy 11:11

If we read the verse previous, it describes life without the heavenly rain. I find it amazing that God allowed two types of rain. Life without the heavenly rain is sowing in vain; basically going aimlessly in a life of stress. Because of this, they have no peace and are constantly pressured. When they have situations in their lives that seem impossible, they really don’t have answers and they resort to man-made solutions. Meanwhile, in the midst  of turmoil, we lean on our Jesus Christ. He gives us the answer to everything. The rain of heaven means that we get the rain of peace over us. Our lives manifest new wine. The verses after this one say how God’s eyes are upon us and how He wants to care for us. Its wonderful to hear Him be so aggressive to bless His children. Often the world goes through certain situations, and they don’t know how it will turn out and they stay under stress until its resolution. We have the right to rest and we can have peace in our Lord Jesus Christ. This rain from heaven is a new peace, a new wine, a new anointing, a new greatness, and total victory. God is moving, and whatever we ask for He is answering. We see the hand of God moving over our situations. We will continually declare victory every morning. Receive the new rain of victory!
