John 3:14
“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:”
I can just see Moses running with all his might to place the snake pole where it should be so that all could gaze upon it.
People were dying to his left and right, what a horrible scene. The cure was that they needed to fix their eyes on the elevated snake on the pole. As long as they looked at the snake they stopped dying.
Jesus was lifted up on the cross for us. Remember the scriptures that say He would bruise the head of the snake, and the snake would bruise the feet of The Messiah. Jesus was bruised so we could be healed, delivered, in peace, and made whole.
Today, take time to read all the prophecies that Jesus fulfilled. Make God part of your plans. Speak to Him about everything and anything, a few simple steps on how to keep your eyes on the cross.
