Psalms‬ ‭91:7‬

“A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But danger will not come near you.”

We are not exactly sure which of the two wrote Psalm 91, Moses or David, but this verse seems to emanate from their experience. Only someone seeing death come upon a people that devastatingly, so quickly, would use words to describe God’s protection.

Only the very hand of God can protect and keep one safe in the mist of terror. God alone is our savior and whatever seems mountain-like, remember He is the one who actually made the mountain. God can flatten the very mountain He made.
