Genesis 28:22 KJV
And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.
Jacob was always a negotiator, so it was easy for him to make a deal with God. However, Jacob was very assertive, he offered God a place, a Residence, perceiving that perhaps God wanted to be wanted. In other words, God is seeking those that will invite Him into their lives. He wants to be loved. Remember, we are made in His image, so the same emotions that we have - happiness, love, sadness, joy - we received that from Him. Today, make a deal with God; invite Him in to your daily life and all details. Life is too short to live without Jesus.
