“Six days later Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John the brother of James, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves.”‭‭MATTHEW‬ ‭17:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

God wants us to go to ahigher level with Him. In every relationship there are levels. In the Old Testament before the cross they would go to a high mountain to meet God and eventually had to come back down. While running for his life, King David went up to a mountain top to be with the prophet Samuel. There Saul and his men could not touch David but he too had to eventually come back down. We are blessed that we don't have to climb Mount Everest to meet God but we can go to the Mountain top in the spirit. Pray more, read more, and seek Him more. Show a hunger for more of His presence. In His presence are all the answers. Once up higher with Jesus there is no going back down. We can stay in that higher place forever.
