In a study with 2 monkeys, one didn’t receive any physical contact and the other did - just by petting it by hand. The one that received the physical contact grew faster and better than the other monkey.
Hands can be a way of contact; of affection.
Jesus gladly spread out His hands on the cross to die in order to enhance our lives. We, by His wonderful grace, are in His hands. We’re in the best position we can ever be. His hands are righteousness and everything beautiful happens when we trust.
