2 Samuel 9:3

“And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.”

Here is an example of the heart of God
( remember Jehovah himself said David is a man after my own heart ). David, remembering his covenant with Jonathan, ordered someone to go and search for someone left alive to show mercy to.

Christ gave himself to a world that would reject Him so that we can be saved. Christ shows mercy to us today for all those who are empty and need to be filled. Christ came to those who need to know their purpose in life and want to be touched by the master’s hands.
