Mark 3:14
“Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,”
It clearly states why Jesus got His 12 and it was for one purpose: for them to be with Him and then go out to preach.
There’s no question about it, your purpose is to live is Christ and to live for Christ - it’s life.
So if asked why we are so heavy-sided on saving souls for Jesus, here is your answer. He called, He brought you close to Himself and now you are to go and tell others of what Jesus has done for you.
