Genesis 28:18

“And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.”

‭‭Who would have thought that giving up a stone that was your pillow, would give you riches, a good name, and a strong standing relationship with God!

Now that’s a good trade, talk about savvy negotiations.

All Jacob had at the moment that was valuable to him was the very clothes on his back, oil from his mom, and a rock for comfort. He traded his oil and his comfort and dared to trust Jehovah.
